The Heavy War Destroyer is a fan designed 1:2500 scale resin model kit. The kit is very nicely designed and not much clean up is required. The kit comes with three (3) white resin pieces and very easy to put together. What really makes this kit very impressive is the set of highly detailed decals that features "aztec" pattern, sensor bands, windows, nacelle and impulse grills, and much, much more. This kit is definitely worth the price! As far as I know, this kit is available only at Federation Models and retails for $25.00 (not including shipping).
Many fans ask Art Asylum to come out with a replica of the "Battle Damaged" U.S.S. Enterprise NCC-1701 (Refit) as seen in Star Trek™ The Wrath of Khan and Search for Spock, and they delivered. The release date is scheduled for sometime in April 2004, and is limited to 3,000 in the US. More information and images can be found on the AFX website. Suggested retail price is about $29.99 and can be ordered from AFX (Action Figure Xpress).
